: Treasurer's Report: Megan is in the hospital. Report will be posted soon. Get better Megan! We raised fees and we are not going in the hole. Directors need to make sure your school paid in full!! Site host issues. Might be a good idea to raise a stipend for the site--$100 to $200--suggestion. [Motion] moved and 2nded and unanimous.

: Events: Comments: Meagan Goranson. Our fees should cover audio recordings of groups. Discussion intense. What do we need to do? CD or DVD. We need to make a recommendation of which format. Kari G: if we have the capability to do one or more of the formats. If you want more, directors make it happen. Some schools have the capability, let's get the kids to record.

: Fall meeting--bring up contest guidelines for sight hosts: where and how cases go, cell phones, ipods, purses, statement of etiquette.

:New fee structures for large group events. Small schools would like to revisit the $5 fee per kid for SMALL SCHOOLS FESTIVAL; though each festival needs to be self sustaining. Do we have a small schools rep? What are the costs to run THIS festival? conductors, accompanist, music. Who ran it: Brian Vessey from Grandview and Jen Schlegel--we will e-mail these people and Maegan Ley to see all costs.

: Honor groups and participation in school ensembles (YYSO, ETC.) Select audition groups: Are these students in our school groups? WMEA has a recommendation kids must participate in local school. We need some action taken by YVMEA about kids not in our groups participating in YYSO. Ron is TAKING ACTION on this and will pull in others for this discussion. Community groups overstepping bounds.

: Officer elections: Rich is our president elect, but needs to resign because he is finishing his administrators degree. we need to fill president and president elect. NOMINATIONS: President: DON MAY (SCOTT G. & ROGER S.--Roger said it's Don May's turn.); Ron G (don may nominted Ron but Ron said he would only do it if no one else would accept nominations)--Vote: Don May

Meg will remain treasurer for now. We will need more officers to be voted on in the fall.
