Nothing in or out except Elementary Sponsored event. Current balance: $4,063.80. Solo and Ensemble money will come in this month and judges payments will be made February 2. It is very important for money to be turned in quickly.

Raise in fee for small schools honor band and choir to $5 per student. This event has LOST money EVERY year. It needs to be self sustaining. There is a meeting with small schools next Tuesday to discuss needs. Questions: do kids pay or schools? Should we have a Cap on cost? Contact Jen SchlegeL ABOUT ISSUES

  • West Valley JHS jazz band, Maegan Ley (Saturday @ 2:45)

YVMEA/CBMEA Conference breakfast, Sunday morning, February 17th - special request to honor our retired teachers. BUY TICKETS $12 ONLINE at CB breakfast or buy it when you arrive at conference. At the convention center. Contact Maegan or Ron with names. Magan Goranson moved that we invite retired members asking for them to RSVP before Jan 28. Ley Seconded it. VOTE: UNANIMOUSLY passed.

 Set date for spring YVMEA meeting to SET 2008-09 CALENDAR so we make sure that you are at this meeting!!! The Date is MAY 14. You really NEED to come. Once the calendar is set, it is set. Bring your district's calendar.
