YVMEA MINUTES FOR SPRING MEETING JUNE 3, 2002
Ed opened the meeting.
Date for Fall meeting set:

To take place at El Portón in Yakima

Solo and Ensemble:
Bart Roderick will be the chairperson in charge of organizing facilities and door/room monitors.

Ed Cunnington will recruit adjudicators.
Mrs. Connolly from Ellensburg will create data base of entrants.

John Straehle needs all comments on All State issues sent to him by Friday, June 7 so he can take them to the state meeting. See his email or the website
for these issues. (auditions, groups, etc.).

Youth Symphony Enrollment - check laws and rules. Students must be enrolled in school ensemble to participate. The same applies to Solo &
Ensemble participation.

Roger Stansberry mentioned that our constitution must be on hand at every meeting and included in our handbook. Also, we need representation and
communication with the YVIAA. We are due funds from that organization.
