YAKIMA VALLEY BEGINNING BAND FESTIVAL 2010

Dear Directors,

A planning meeting for the 2010 Yakima Valley Beginning Band Festival was held Jan 11th in Yakima. At the meeting, we selected all the music and discussed some of the other important matters of the event. The festival will be held at either at Highland High School's Gymnasium, in Cowiche. Also a NEW DAY! Which will be, Saturday, May 8th, 2010. We will start the rehearsal at 3:30 and go until 5:45 and break for dinner. The concert will begin at 6:30 P.M., make sure your students bring a sack lunch and a beverage, and PLEASE BRING ENOUGH MUSIC STAND TO OUTFIT YOUR BAND! We need to know how many students you plan on bringing as soon as possible. Please email at jaoo64@yahoo.com with the number of students you plan to bring to the festival. I have included in this email the tunes that were selected for the festival. You can call JW Pepper at 1-800-345-6296 with your order. Please use their Pepper numbers when ordering. The schools that have been invited are: East Valley, Selah, West Valley, Naches, Riverside Christian, St. Joesph MS, St. Paul Cathedral and Highland.
