2nd year Students Band Festival
The Central Washington "2nd year student" Band Festival is scheduled for Monday, May 17th, in the Housel Middle School Gymnasium, in Prosser. The concert will be at 6:30 pm. We are needing to know how many of you directors, who are teaching 6th or 7th grade band....meaning "second year students", would like to bring them to this massed band festival. I will need to know by March 1st, if you are interested in attending the event.
Ted Brown Music will pay for a guest conductor to direct the band, this will be the same format we do with the beginner's each spring. If you think this is something you would like to be part of, plese email me at: jaoo64@yahoo.com

The concert will be at Housel Middle School in Prosser. You will need to have your bus arrive at 3pm or later to allow Prosser busses to vacate the area and so there will be room for your bus to park. The rehearsal will start at 3:30 p.m. and end at 5:45 p.m., the concert will be at 6:30.

P.S. Please remember to bring your own music stand's for your group, as well as any percussion equipment that is needed. It doesn't hurt to have your school name on it as well.
